Strode College students from the BTEC National Diploma Broadcast Media course worked alongside myself and other professional videographers in shooting a music video of three live bands.
The barnstorming performances of A Class Apart, Diego Unplugged and Rib were captured by Mell Turford's students: Bill Pollard, George Dedman, Peter Gooch, Sam Green, Jack Warman, Georgie Pollard, Charlie Andrews, Matt Davies.
The students worked in pairs with Sony Z5 cameras, loaned to the Festival by Visual Impact in Bristol, under the tuition of Nicola Robertson and Andrew Varma from Mendip Media. I was also on site to help the students capture the atmosphere of the event, as was Glastonbury's John Peel Stage Photographer, Julie Hayward. Below is one the edited videos I have just completed.
This is the blog of freelance creative Adrian Mewett. It's a place where I post the things I find interesting. I can show some of my work in progress, share ideas and generally rant on about the things I enjoy doing, and the things I don't.
They may not always be creatively themed posts, but to my friends and colleagues I hope they will be of some interest. If you would like to submit anything please email me at studio@fierce-media.co.uk
